Harry: This one is with strawberry and melon flavour and ginseng as well…

Rich: I love the term ‘infused’ – it gives you an idea of someone massaging it in.

Clive: Does that just mean that they’ve got some fruit and dunked it in and then thrown the fruit away? Is that infusing?


Mark: Yeah, that’s basically what it is, like making tea.

Harry: [Pouring the drink] It’s purple!

Mark: I’d actually say that’s lilac, Harry.

Harry: Oo, fair enough… I haven’t been interiorly decorating my house lately!

Mark: This one’s not so good…

Harry: It does smell very strawberry-y… it smell very strongly of strawberries.

Mark: Yeah, but that kind of artificial Angel Delight strawberry…

Harry: Yeah, there is no actually strawberry in here; it is all flavouring!

Clive: Hang on, maybe we should check that before we get a phone call from Mountain Dew…

Rich: They all taste so artificial, it’s just really… nasty.

Harry: Hmm, natural and artificial flavourings. Yeah, apparently there are some natural flavourings… But there’s no actual fruit in there.

Clive: No, strawberry is not on the ingredients list. Surprise, surprise!

Mark: Because it tastes so natural…

Rich: The only one I’ve liked so far is the Relentless one and, weirdly, the Pussy.

[sniggering]

Mark: Yeah, I quite liked the last Mountain Dew and the Relentless as well…

Harry: Hmm, I’m, well, Hmm, we’ve got the end of the proper one, the full-size ones. Personally I’m backing the Bawls…

[sniggering]

Rich: No, they’re really not.

Harry: I thought the Bawls cherry was really good. Very flavoursome, very cherry-y.

Mark: Yeah, the Bawls cherry was good as well.

Clive: They’re the pick of the bad bunch, aren’t they? That and the Relentless, but then that’s just Red Bull.

Mark: Clive, you know you are actually shaking?

Clive: Good good!

Rich: Yeah, I can see from here – it’s like you’ve got that scene from Jurassic Park in your hand!
